    Description

    VTG Jeannette Glass Depression~Swirl Pink~10” Footed Bowl.
    This beautiful bowl was made by Janette glass between 1937 and 1938. It measures approximately 9 1/2 inches wide and 3 3/4 Inches tall.
    As you probably know, Standard Depression Glass was made with inexpensive materials. Silica sand, soda ash and lime stone were heated and fused, then poured into molds. There may be heavy seams, straw imprints, bubbles, debris incased in the glass, and surface wrinkles. These are normal conditions of depression glass and not flaws. I did not find any cracks, chips or flea bites in this piece. There are a few very slight utensil marks on the inside. It will be a perfect addition to your collection.
